Steps to Becoming a Fiteracy Facilitator
The Fiteracy Facilitator Course
The Fiteracy Facilitator Course is a 5 module course providing theory and practices used in programs that promote a strength based and low anxiety approach to teaching health messages.
The Fiteracy Facilitator Course also extends upon the 8 Conditions of Learning used in early learning and adult literacy development programs.
Participants are provided with lesson plans templates and resources to assist with the delivery and evaluation of the use of the 4 Fiteracy principles and the 8 Conditions of Learning used in Fiteracy framed programs.
Steps to Becoming an Approved Fiteracy Facilitator
The Fiteracy Webinar Series includes a number of Free Webinars to provide participants with a " Taster" of the Fiteracy Facilitator Course. Each of these webinars is 30 minutes long and include components of the 5 x 2 hour Modules that make up the Fiteracy Facilitator Course
Participants who have completed all 5 x 2 hour Modules and successfully completed the all 5 Module assessments can apply to be recognised as an Approved Fiteracy Facilitator and to have their program recognised as a program that follow the Fiteracy Principles and the 8 Conditions of Learning.
Participants applying to become an Approved Fiteracy Facilitator are required to submit current proof of the following:
Approved Fiteracy Facilitators are placed on the Fiteracy Facilitator Directory and regularly promoted on the Fiteracy webpage, social media and publications and also eligible to become part of the Fiteracy Facilitator Training Team

- Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance to run
child focussed activities within their organisation or professional
association. - Appropriate working with children checks
