Helping Community Members Learn About Evidence Based Health Concepts

Fiteracy workshops aim to help community members translate " health language" into language we can all understand.
Fiteracy workshops encourage community members to become " engaged learners"  in health concepts and create "co-learning" environments for health professionals, community organisations and community members to learn and discuss the latest evidence based health information together.

Workshops for Health Professionals and Community Members 

Fiteracy workshops are provided as online learning resources, short courses, group Zoom platforms and face to face network meetings.
Fiteracy workshops can range from health education workshops for childcare groups through to health education for older adults,

The Fiteracy Mentor program matches people interested in learning about metabolic health to people who have found a level of success and sustainability with their own exercise and lifestyle modification.

The Fiteracy Mentor program is a story telling, information sharing program with the aim to increase knowledge in the areas of exercise, nutrition and metabolic health.
