Low Carb Lifestyle Support SessionsThe Fiteracy Low Carb Lifestyle Community Group has been created to assist people wishing to learn more about the benefits of low carb lifestyles for both physical and mental health. The benefits of a low carb lifestyle are continuing to be proven through an evidence base that is NOT funded by big pharma or the food industry. This page features a number of health professionals including dietitians, physiotherapists, a GP and myself an exercise physiologist. The page has been created to assist people who are both passionate or new to learning about low carb.

This network meeting aims to discuss the PTSD Communique developed by the Fearless Conference in QLD in 2019. A link to this Communique and the Fearless Site has been placed below and the aim of the meeting will be to discuss how this strategy can be implemented in a regional and rural community like the Shoalhaven . Community Session PTSD, Depression, Anxiety and the Role of Exercise and Lifestyle Modification
This session will focus on outlining the benefits of exercise for the management of PTSD, Anxiety and Depression. During this session, participants will learn about the physiological benefits that exercise provides and the research behind the types, duration and frequency of exercise that is recommended for people managing PTSD. Also to be discussed will be the barriers that people in rural and regional areas may experience when trying to find exercise and lifestyle services in their local area. Participants are invited to share their exercise stories, whilst also discussing their own exercise barriers . As this session is focused on " exercise" , this discussion will not provide mental health or psychological advice, but will however, provide participants with information regarding how to access local mental health support and services.
